My name is Rudy Garcia, I’m 24 years old. I was born & raised in Miami, FL but now live in Los Angeles, CA. I’m a professional dancer & aspiring choreographer. I went to New World School of the Arts where I trained in styles such as Ballet, Modern, Pilates, Dance teaching methods & Jazz. I graduated in the fall of 2017 and received a Bachelors in Fine Arts. Besides classical training in college, I also trained in commercial genres of dance such as Jazz Funk, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Afro-Caribbean & many more. I have worked with many Latin artist’s in Miami such as JBalvin, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, Ozuna, Daddy Yankee & others. My hopes in moving to California are to work with American artists and become a well-known choreographer. I love creating things on a big scale and seeing my thoughts/visions come to life. Not only does this apply to dance/choreography but I also love DIY projects. All in all, I’m a very creative person and love to express myself that way
Your favorite MOBOT: I LOVE the 40oz Big Bertha in Black :)
Your Favorite MOBOT move?
I love being able to have a strong/sturdy foam roller where I sit on and roll out my glutes & back. Those are the main areas of mine that are usually tight from so many hours of rehearsals.
When did you start foam rolling?
I want to say I started foam rolling with MOBOT back in Nov/Dec of 2017.
How has MOBOT helped you?
MOBOT has been such a lifesaver because I usually have to carry so many things to and from rehearsals and being that this foam roller is also a water bottle saved me from so much - packing time, backaches from carrying so many things & it’s so convenient.
Your advice to anyone new to foam rolling?
I would say always stay hydrated, this helps your muscles a lot! Rolling may hurt but it’s a great way to relax and recover. You don’t want/need extra tension in your life!
MOBOT is a game changer - I absolutely LOVE it!
