I’m Katie and I take life in moment by moment. Where I’m growing the most right now is in my role as a community architect at Haven, a community living space focused on health in Venice, California. I teach yoga as well and what makes me feel SO alive is jumping into the ocean first thing in the morning. I adore heart-to-heart conversations, making acai bowls with more toppings than fruit, and long hugs. What moves me (and the current lesson life is teaching me right now) is simply being with every moment, letting it be whatever it is.
Go slow! Slow is savory and oh so yummy! Let your body soak up the goodness and yumminess of the roll Also! You don’t necessarily have to ROLL to reap the benefits of foam rolling. Just laying your body on top of the MOBOT and remaining still does wonders.
I feel called to share something that’s resonated with me for quite some time and I think applies to foam rolling as well. It’s this: if movement is medicine, then stillness is sacred.
