My name is Daniel MacDonald, I was raised by two bookstore owners in Washington DC and fell in love with skateboarding when I was around 10 years old. My family moved us out to Los Angeles in 2006 and that was when my love for skateboarding grew to unimaginable levels. I’m really moved by the amount of commitment and courage it takes to skateboard down mountain roads at speeds upwards of 50-60mph. Skateboarding down mountains is and always will be, my favorite thing to do on a skateboard.
Your favorite MOBOT:
My favorite MOBOT is the Big Bertha, simply because I need to be as hydrated as possible as well as the best coverage on my foam rolling, the smaller ones hurt so much more too.
Your favorite MOBOT move?
My favorite MOBOT move is rolling out my quads, those get the sorest after skateboarding all day, especially when you’re stabilizing a skateboard at 50+ mph.
When did you start foam rolling?
When I was 16 and I was doing a lot of martial arts training, I felt that it worked so well after a long day of training..
How has MOBOT helped you?
MOBOT has increased my flexibility and allows my muscles to really use the water I fill the bottle with.
Your advice to anyone new to foam rolling?
Start slow, it hurts a lot but the feeling after rolling is unmatched to just casual stretches.
